Good BYE to the tail!!!!! 8 Weeks.

I'm sorry that Im not keeping up..Its going by so fast. So I'm already in my 9th week. 8 full weeks and 2 days. Basically the first trimester week by week is pretty amazing. Hence all the updates. As mentioned before, there is a lot that happens everyday. Once we get past the first trimester..We will slow down with the weekly updates, but until then suck it up and read on....


8 weeks gestation. Size = kidney bean. Lima bean, BEANS! It will measure about 14-20mm long. Grows about a Millimeter/day.
About this famous tail. Well it is supposed to be leaving here shortly or maybe even gone by now, turning into the spinal cord. So we are making progress in looking like a baby and not an alien. Cuz they sure are ugly lil suckers right now.

The webbed paddle-like objects a.k.a. hands and feet we got last week are forming fingers and toes now. HA here's a funny one. States the tip of the nose is starting to form....Well we all are fully aware of the NOVAK syndrome.. and I say. What nose? yikes. Cross your fingers it has something more than a couple of holes on it's face. We shall see.

Obviously the brain is growing at so many thousand cells a minute. and the organs are still forming etc..but that's not the cute stuff to mention like fingers and toes and hopefully a nose.
Other things are: eyelids, teeth are formed as well as the jaw is taking shape.
The sex of the baby has been determined but it's still too soon to be able to tell via ultrasound.

SO, as far as the little guy goes, obviously growing and developing like crazy. I can't keep up.
We are already looking for baby furniture! Why wait? I think I know what I want. Just have to convince Ryan that it's cool too.;-)
